I have reported this pharmacy to the Caremark and Blue Cross for unethical and fraudulent practices. Their pharmacy manager, Ivan Law, would not dispense a calcium medication to my sister because he was not being paid enough from the insurance, our co pay was $ 50 dollars for the medication and we were okay with that. But he felt that he was still losing money, so he would not sell the prescription unless we paid an additional $20 dollars. He said that it was not fair to him to lose money on the medication. I was flabbergasted that he said this out loud. I contacted the insurance company who informed me that even though this pharmacy is considered out of network they are still paid on the medication, plus we pay our co pay, as it is our responsibility. He can not charge an up cost to us. This pharmacy is clearly, poorly managed and run, and I hope that other people going to pick up their prescriptions here look at their bills because he has no problem adding charges on this his customers. HIGHLY UNETHICAL AND ALSO FRAUDULENT!!!! HE SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS FOR THIS KIND OF TREATMENT. I hope he takes an ethics class and needs customer service training.
